National Volunteer Appreciation Week is an annual celebration to take time to thank and recognize volunteers from coast to coast to coast. This year’s theme Volunteering is Empathy in Action highlights how this profoundly human connection is at the heart of healthier individuals and stronger communities. Volunteer + Info HPE in partnership with the National Air Force Museum of Canada are partnering to host a Celebration and Recognition Event to close out the week. The celebration will give agencies the opportunity to bring of their volunteers for a continental style boxed breakfast; entertainment featuring Buzz Collins, Hypnotist/Mentalist; annual Volunteer + Info HPE awards presentations; and much more. As the Celebration is hosted at the National Air Force Museum of Canada, which is located on federal property and is under the jurisdiction of the Wing Commander (8 Wing/CFB Trenton); masks will be required and proof of vaccination will be verified prior to entry.
