Brian Legere is a Canadian guitarist and singer originally from Hamilton, Ontario. He gained valuable experience at a young age playing blues, rock, country, and jazz in various hometown venues. After a long career on the Toronto music scene, both as a teacher and performer, he relocated to Picton, Ontario, where he has lived for eight years. Legere's guitar and vocal stylings have roots in jazz, blues, rock, and folk—genres collectively referred to as "Americana." He leads the Brian Legere Quartet, which has performed at various venues, including The Waring House in Picton, Ontario. In addition to his performances, Legere serves as the Artistic Director of the Prince Edward County Jazz Festival. Legere's contributions to the local music scene include hosting jazz concerts and collaborating with other musicians. His quartet has accompanied numerous singers and instrumentalists, showcasing an easy camaraderie among the musicians as they adapt to each other's styles and songs.
