Seedy Saturday is a community event for the sharing of seeds and gardening expertise. The event is sponsored by the City of Belleville, the Belleville Garden Club and Quinte Conservation. Local community groups and market vendors include: Gleaners, Community Development Council (community gardens), Natural Themes Nursery, TerraEdibles, DropSeed Nursery, Fiddleheads Farms, Thyme Again Gardens, Master Gardeners and more. The focus of Seedy Saturday is to promote biodiversity in food production and to help address food security issues in our community.
